BOOKING AND BILLING POLICIES
In order to protect and maintain a professional relationship with the therapist, Hope Counselling Clinic requires that all clients be aware of and respectfully adhere to the policies below.
All appointments must be booked 3-4 days in advance via the contact details listed on the contact page. An emergency appointment can only be accommodated if there is an open slot available.
BILLING AND PAYMENTS
Payments are to be made at the end of each session. If you would prefer a different payment schedule, this can be negotiated with the counsellor in person. If the sessions are held online, all payments have to be made in advance. Hope Counselling Clinic can provide invoices for insurance claims.
In the rare case of stopping therapy mid-way, any advance deposits made with the counsellor will be refunded after adjusting the dues.
If you need to cancel/reschedule your appointment for any reason, this can be done, a minimum of 48 hours before your appointment. Any cancellations/rescheduling of sessions done lesser than 48 hours before the appointment will be considered last minute and therefore require payment in full.
If the therapist initiates a last minute cancellation/rescheduling, the following session for the client will be booked free of charge.
Hope Counselling Clinic commits to maintaining complete confidentiality between you and your counsellor. Unless agreed upon with the client beforehand, the identity of any client, or any identifiable personal details, are not divulged to any parties outside of the clinic. All client files are maintained solely in the possession of the counsellor and destroyed after 3 yrs.
As a client, your personal details may be revealed with your consent to the relevant parties/ authorities if the counsellor has reason to suspect harmful behaviour occurring towards yourself or others.
